The principle of the photodetector is that the conductivity of the irradiated material changes due to radiation. Photodetectors are widely used in various fields of military and national economy. In the visible or near-infrared band, it is mainly used for ray measurement and detection, industrial automatic control, photometric measurement, etc.; in the infrared band, it is mainly used for missile guidance, infrared thermal imaging, and infrared remote sensing. Another application of the photoconductor is to use it as the target surface of the camera tube. In order to avoid the image blur caused by the diffusion of photo-generated carriers, the continuous film target surface is made of high-resistance polycrystalline materials, such as PbS-PbO, Sb2S3 and so on. Other materials can be used to inlay the target surface, the entire target surface is composed of about 100,000 individual detectors.
